As a holistic counselor, part of my holistic therapy services include helping people identify belief systems that do not allow for themselves to experience joy, happiness, love, and contentment. As we learn to work more consciously with our thoughts, we experience a natural healing of any emotional traumas that we may be holding onto.
Undoing the dis-ease is a self healing approach that differs from some healing modalities in that there is a profound recognition of our inherent wholeness and divine essence. We are beings of love, that is our natural state. We have learned to limit this flow of love through our limiting belief systems. The process of counseling and therapy in general are helpful, but what is really helpful is to understand that you are your own healer, and depending on where you are placing your attention, will determines how much connection you feel to your own creative healing power. Though healers, therapists and counselors can guide you regarding how to cultivate your attention, ultimately it is up to each one of us to take responsibility for our own self healing and holistic health.
