Being happy takes practice. It is a funny kind of practice, however, in that it requires "no effort" When you put down thoughts of anxiety, stress, "shoulds" and all the pressure you may be putting on yourself to be better, you will find that peace and a sense of wellbeing naturally returns. It takes practice to relax into this natural state of happy. Practicing gratitude is a great way to practice relaxing into happy. Here is what I am grateful for today.
I am grateful for this breath, for the air flowing in and out of my lungs. I am grateful for the sensations in my body, for feeling alive and for feeling such a variety of different sensations. I am grateful to be here now in this time and space. I am grateful for all of the beings waking up right now in this time to realize what we have been creating. I am grateful to see more clearly each moment what I am creating in my experienc and in my life, and then to choose to have an experience which serves my heart. I am grateful to practice letting go and being peaceful with whatever is in thismoment. I am grateful for being a holistic counselor, and for offering holistic counseling to others who are going through their own process of awakening and living more fully from their Hearts. I am grateful for the beautiful ocean, for the turquoise and blue waters, for the magical feeling of being in the ocan and around the ocean. I am grateful for the rivers and the mountains, and all of the fresh water that feels so good to swim in. I am grateful for waterfalls, and for how sacred and special it feels to be in a waterfall or around a waterfall. I am grateful for the amazing puppies and kittens out there, they are so darn cute it is amazing. I am grateful forflowers, particularly gardenias, for roses, for lavendar, for jasmin, for plumeria,
I am grateful for the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, for spiritual counseling and for spirituality and counseling. I am grateful for all of the wisdom that comes through the healing channels of the world. I am grateful to be able tohlep others through my practice of holistic counseling. I am grateful for beautiful music and dance, for all of the creative expressions that feel so good. I am grateful for painting, and for feeling how good it feels to express myself through color and shape. I am so grateful to be able to move my body freely, to move my body and breath deeply, standing up tall, taking deep, slow, natural breaths from my belly, and existing in a state of peace, happiness, joy, and surrender. I am grateful to be alive at this time in the evolution of the human species. I am grateful to be aware of how healing the earth is. I am grateful to see myself living fully alive, engaged, and present out in nature, but close to people and the things that I need in order to survive and thrive. I am happy to be a conscious creator, bringing more love, joy, and happiness into this time and place. I am grateful to be in the flow of life, helping others, bringing more happiness, joy, peace, and calm into the lives of others. I am grateful for understanding how the ego works, and to remember to always bring my attention back to the present moment, letting go of any resistance, and reactions, any judgments, and any non acceptance.
